Frank Layzell - Founder and Director of Engineering

Frank Layzell is the founder, inventor and Director of Engineering for Speedwall and has over 40 years experience designing, project managing and overseeing major civil and structural engineering projects.

Throughout Frank's career he has worked across every continent in the world.  Notable projects include:

  • Design and build of over 4,000 low cost housing and accomodation units in Malaysia.
  • Oversaw all site activities connected with a the installation and erection of a £200 million grain discharging terminal in China.
  • Design and construction of a Steel Fabrication Plant in Saudi Arabia.
  • Design and project management of 120 room hotel in the UK.
  • Design and construction of 1,200 housing units including infrastructure, shops and recreational facilities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Project Management of 2,700 pre-cast concrete system houses in Nigeria.
  • Design and supervision of construction of a steel fabrication complex in Nigeria.

Frank has a BSG Civil & Structural Engineering (HoNs) from the University of London and is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Accounting, the British Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors.
